Volunteer at the 80/35 Music Festival

We’re looking for fun, energetic, music fans who would be willing to donate a few hours of their time at the 2011 80/35 Music Festival. Organized and managed by the Des Moines Music Coalition, a non-profit organization, 80/35 requires hundreds of dedicated and responsible people to pull it all together. And let’s just say the perks are definitely worth it!

Volunteer shifts last 4 – 5 hours and we have shifts a few days before, during and after the festival. Activities range from checking wristbands, selling drink tickets, gate control and even managing backstage activities. As a volunteer, you have access to all the same things as the spectators — the music, the food, the fun, and the party.

Volunteers get a free one-day pass for the day that they work to enjoy the festival before or after their shift.

Join the 80/35 Street Team

The DMMC is now seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to become a part of our street team.  We need outgoing volunteers to help promote this year’s 80/35 at various locations and upcoming events, locally and regionally.  Street teamers play an integral part in spreading the news and excitement of this event and the rewards for your efforts will be worth it!
