Non-Alcoholic Beverages
Select a variety of refreshing Coca-Cola products. Free water filling stations will also be located on the festival grounds. Some food vendors will also be selling non-alcoholic beverages.

Lagunitas Lounge
The exclusive Lagunitas Lounge will be the only place at the festival to feature select Lagunitas beers, plus an assortment of mixed drinks. Located in the northwest corner, inside the paid area. Upgrade your 80/35 experience, by purchasing a Lounge wristband for $20 (includes one free drink ticket) in advance or buy day of just outside the Lounge entrance.

Featuring free activities for children of all ages from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday and 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Saturday. Located at 13th and Grand, the zone includes large inflatables, face-painting, hula hooping, arts and crafts, and large grassy shaded areas!

Local artist Divya is providing traditional and glitter henna tattoos on Locust St.

Lavender Blue Floral

Admission
Where do I buy tickets? How much are they?
Head on over to midwestix.com to purchase tickets for $95 two-day, $195 VIP and $55 one-day. You can buy tickets at the Ticketing Tent on 12th St., south of Locust starting at 4pm on Friday and 11am on Saturday. View the festival map.
What does VIP include?
The VIP experience at 80/35 includes six free drink vouchers, two food vouchers (for meals between 5-7pm in the VIP area each day), $5 off coupon for 80/35 merch, access to the Lagunitas Lounge, and exclusive access to VIP Lounge next to the Main Stage featuring a shaded viewing area, air-conditioned bathrooms with running water and access to the VIP Lounge Bar with discounted beverages, mixed drinks, beer & wine. What can I see for free?
As part of the Des Moines Music Coalition’s mission to grow the music scene, 80/35 works to expose more people to live music by making sure the festival is accessible to everyone. The free area (no ticket required) includes free stages, a Kids Zone, arts & crafts, food & drink vendors and more. The Main Stage requires a ticket.
What about kids?
Kids 10 and under get free admission with a paying adult.

The Fairlife YUP! Kids Zone at 13th and Grand has a bunch of all free activities including inflatables, arts & crafts, hula-hoops and more.
Getting to 80/35
By Car
Paid parking at many meters downtown is 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and free on weekends. The city is transitioning to a 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday schedule. Check the coin side of your meter for exact information on parking on Des Moines parking meters. Free parking is also available in the Nationwide Parking Ramp (located at Mulberry and 12th St.) after 5 p.m. on Friday and anytime Saturday.
By Bus
Leave your car at home and take advantage of late-night bus service to 80/35. The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) is providing late-night service on its Route 60 to take people to and from the festival. Route 60 runs between downtown Des Moines and 42nd St. using University and Ingersoll Avenues. The route will run every 20 minutes until midnight on Friday and Saturday, July 7 and 8. This route travels in a loop around downtown via Ingersoll and University, going all the way to 42nd St.

The main drop-off location for arriving at 80/35 is at High and 10th St. For getting home, 80/35 attendees can go to the bus stop at the corner of Grand and 10th St. For more information, visit: ridedart.com/content/how-get-8035-downtown-des-moines.
By Bike
Ride your bike and use the Meredith Bike Valet for free secured bike parking during the festival. Located on Locust St., west of 13th St.
Upon Arrival
If you have a ticket or want to buy a ticket, go to the Ticketing Tent on 12th St., just south of Locust. If you only want to experience the free areas of the festival, you can enter the festival grounds anywhere. View the festival map. For the security and safety of all attendees, bags will be checked as you enter festival grounds.
Rules & Day Of Details
What do I do when I arrive? What's the deal with wristbands?
Exchange your ticket for a wristband or buy a ticket at the Ticketing Tent on 12th St. You must keep your wristband on at all times for re-entry to the paid area. You will receive one wristband for the entire weekend. 80/35 is not responsible for lost or broken wristbands and cannot issue new ones — even if you have a ticket stub or broken wristband. If you are only enjoying the free area no wristband is needed.

For the security and safety of all attendees, bags will be checked as you enter festival grounds.
What time do gates open?
Gates open at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Music goes until 11:00 p.m. both nights. All attendees are subject to search upon entry to the festival grounds.
What can I bring?
CAN BRING: chairs (only in designated areas), blankets, small non-frame backpacks, one empty water bottle per person, one factory-sealed water bottle, small snack, empty camelbacks, personal pocket sized point and shoot only cameras.
What should I leave at home?
DON’T BRING: illegal drugs, weapons, fireworks, pets, coolers, outside beverages (except one sealed water bottle and one empty water bottle), large frame backpacks, audio recording devices, professional photography equipment, including cameras with interchangeable lenses and SLRs. - For the security and safety of all attendees, bags will be checked as you enter festival grounds.

- Underage drinking is prohibited.

Do vendors accept credit card?
Many, but not all vendors accept credit card. ATMs will be available onsite.
How do alcohol sales work?
Visit a drink ticket station (next to the beer stands) first to get your ID checked in exchange for a wristband. Purchase drinks tickets with cash/card. Beer and wine stands only accept drink tickets. Beer stands in the VIP Lounge and Laguntias Lounge accept drink tickets, cash or credit.
Is the festival accessible?
Yes, there are accessible pathways for wheelchairs throughout the festival. Each stage will feature a designated wheelchair user area in front of the sound boards. Additionally, accessible portable toilets are located throughout the grounds.
Will there be first aid on festival grounds?
Yes, a first aid station will be on 12th Street, just south of Locust Street.
Is there recycling at 80/35?
Yes! There will be separate marked bins for recycling and trash.
