Psalm One

This female rapper from Chicago’s Southside has been developing her craft for over a decade. She’s artistically witty, sonically soulful and lyrically unstoppable. Psalm One has shared the stage with some of the best in the business including: 50 Cent, Rakim, Slick Rick, Atmosphere, MF Doom, De La Soul, Jean Grae, Diverse, Brother Ali, and many, many more. While finishing her Chemistry degree at the University of Illinois, Psalm fittingly self-released her debut album “Bio:Chemistry” in 2002, then followed up by signing a multi-album deal with Rhymesayer’s Entertainment. Her 2006 release of “The Death of Frequent Flyer” was critically acclaimed. After a whirlwind tour schedule, several mixtape appearances and a creative stint in California’s Bay Area, Psalm’s back with new projects. Woman at Work Vol. 1 will reacquaint you with your favorite while whetting your palette for her next Rhymesayers Entertainment LP.
