Street Team
80/35 wants your help to get the word out. The Greater Des Moines Music Coalition is once again using its street team to distribute posters, flyers, and general goodwill across the Midwest. We have some great incentives for street team members including passes to the festival. For more information or to get involved email streetteam@desmoinesmc.com.
Volunteer at the Festival
We’re looking for fun, energetic, music fans who would be willing to donate a few hours of time at the 2009 80/35. Organized and managed by the Greater Des Moines Music Coalition, a non-profit organization, 80/35 requires hundreds of dedicated and responsible people to pull it all together. And lets just say the perks are definitely worth it.
Volunteer shifts range 4 – 5 hours starting a few days before, during and after the festival. Activities range from checking wristbands, selling drink tickets, gate control and even managing backstage activities. As a volunteer, you have access to all the same things as the spectators — the music, the food, the fun, and the party.
We will try to assign volunteers to their 1st or 2nd choice, but there is no guarantee that your shift will end prior to your favorite band. Volunteers will receive the following:
• Official 80/35 staff t-shirt
• One FREE ticket into paid area for the day you volunteer
