Brother Trucker

Des Moines’ Brother Trucker mixes elements of country, blues, and rock in to their music, even adding unique qualities of their Iowan roots in with the mix. They have played extensively all over Midwest (including at the 2008 80/35) and have even opened for musicians like Al Green and Rev. Horton Heat. In 2009 they received an award for their original music in the independent film titled “Becoming Eduardo.” Brother Trucker has released several albums, some of which were recorded on Trailer Records in Iowa City, a label that includes Grammy winning artists Bo Ramsey and Greg Brown. Nitty and gritty, with a dynamic element considered unique to Iowa, Brother Trucker leaves fans begging for more.

Performing Saturday, July 2 at 3:15pm on the Independence Stage
