Da Younger got his name from being the youngest boy in the family of 3 children. Originally from West Chicago his family moved to Des Moines when he was 13.

Da Younger has been playing the piano since 12 and performing music since 2016 but started focusing on a on rap career in 2017. Da Younger has found success being recognized as Des Moines #1 Artist was on reverb nation, he was listed as “Artist to Watch” in the Des Moines Register, and his music video titled “Hot Boy” from his debut mixtape “Scriptures” has amassed over 75,000 views. This year he has already dropped two projects. Self titled album “Da Younger” is available on all major platforms as well as “H.B.K” (heartbreak kid) which dropped on Valentine’s Day. His greatest musical influences are J cole, Kendrick Lamar, The Game, Future, and Logic.
