Particle combined rock, jam and electronic sounds like seasoned pros on the main stage this afternoon, getting the crowd fired up with some drawn out and inspired jams that will hopefully be a sign of more great music to come.
Despite the loose nature of the music, the band still sounded tight and well-rehearsed, and all of the tunes built up nicely before ending at just the right time.
Still up tonight on the main stage are Yo La Tengo, Slightly Stoopid and Spoon, not to mention the great acts on the side stages. Stay tuned for more reaction from those shows and more!
