YES YES YES YES, we have all waited 365 days and it has come again! I suppose I should probably introduce myself. It’s Patrick Tape Fleming of the Poison Control Center here.. My band has been out on tour for 3 1/2 weeks and we have made a special trip back to Des Moines for the great 80/35.. This year we will not be playing one of the Stages but Im so excited to have been asked to blog about the fest! 80/35 is here and Im so excited! It’s a 11 am and Im just getting ready to head down to the festival to catch the great local band ATUDES who start off today’s events on the Main Stage!
The thing Im most excited about this weekend is one of my all time favorite bands YO LA TENGO coming to Des Moines! Also Christopher the Conquered and SPOON! This is gonna rule! BY THE WAY the SUN is out and its beautiful if you are not in Des Moines today I feel sorry for you!
