Today is a smorgasbord of a great music from near, far and right here in Iowa. Ames-based Poison Control Center get things kicked off today, and then the madness ensues. Ben Harper will definitely be the highlight for me today, but there is so much good music I don’t even know where to start.
G. Love, Brother Ali, Baby Teeth, The Envy Corps will be unmissable, to name just a few.
The other good news is it looks like rain will be unlikely today: the National Weather Service says just a 20 percent chance of showers for Independence Day (take that, Brits!) and a very temperate high of 71. No rain forecast for the evening or night, either. So enjoy the music and weather!
