Five Iowa bands will compete for a coveted spot in the 2009 80/35 lineup alongside iconic acts including Ben Harper and Relentless 7, Public Enemy, Broken Social Scene, and more. More than 35 acts submitted for the 80/35 Wild Card competition and now after online voting, it’s down to five bands.
The Honeybees, Ely Falls, Hanwell, Hollywood Burnout, and Blue Island Tribe will compete at People’s Court on June 10 where the music fans will decide the winner that will land the last slot on the 80/35 lineup.
Each attendee will get one ballot. Attendees that have already purchased tickets to 80/35 from IowaTix will get an additional ballot. Tickets will be available for purchase at the event to receive an additional ballot.
